Wordjumble and Tennyson

Midway through
Stephen Jay Gould's
I reached his essay

unfortunately,
due to the epic
(really; sans hyperbole)
nature of the work,
the broad flavor of the piece
 is impossible to communicate
 without direct experience
(like anything worth anything).

However,
if you're either an English major,
or you've read Gould's bit,
the following should make some sense.

If that's not the case, let it at least rouse your curiosity
for a poet in deep (by modern reckoning) time.
